**Knicks Sign Ariel Hukporti to Two-Way Contract**
The New York Knicks have officially signed Ariel Hukporti to a two-way contract.
Hukporti, a 22-year-old center from Germany, was selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft as the 58th overall pick, which the Knicks acquired from the Dallas Mavericks.
Standing at 6-foot-11, Hukporti recently played in Germany’s top professional league, the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), where he averaged 5.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in 14.3 minutes across three games, including two starts, with MHP Riesen.
Before his stint in Germany, Hukporti spent part of the 2023-24 season in Australia’s National Basketball League. He averaged 8.4 points and 7.0 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game over 28 appearances with Melbourne United. Across two seasons with Melbourne, Hukporti compiled averages of 7.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per game over 55 games.
