Breaking: Brian Kelly wins Another Recruiting battle as LSU flips A Commit From Another SEC Program

On Wednesday, LSU football secured a verbal commitment from Jaiden Braker, a linebacker who had previously pledged to South Carolina, according to On3 Sports. Braker, who hails from Snellville, Georgia, had originally chosen the Gamecocks over Kentucky on July 6. However, after receiving an offer from LSU head coach Brian Kelly during a recent visit to Baton Rouge, Braker decided to switch his commitment to the Tigers.

Rated as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports, Braker has also garnered scholarship offers from several other programs, including Rutgers, California, Brigham Young, Utah, and North Carolina State. His recruitment began to gain momentum earlier this year, starting with an offer from Bowling Green in January. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 212 pounds, Braker’s athleticism and potential have made him a sought-after prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
