Harrison Ingram, a former standout player at UNC, inked a two-way deal with the San Antonio Spurs.
Ingram will join the G-League Austin Spurs as a professional player. After being selected with the 48th overall choice in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, he made a total of seven appearances for San Antonio’s Summer League squads in Sacramento and Las Vegas. With 27.8 mpg of play, Ingram averaged 10 ppg and 6.6 rpg points. Ingram made plays all around the court, just like he did at Carolina, frequently taking small steps to get the team moving:
Admiral Samuel Paparo, the Commander of USINDOPACOM, may give Ingram a call if he isn’t called up to San Antonio this season. Harrison Ingram has already proven to be superior to the Chinese as the US military and government engage in a geopolitical rivalry with China. Ingram gave Team China that effort in San Antonio’s California Classic matchup with the Chinese national squad in Sacramento, collecting his first-ever professional double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) in an 89-67 victory.
The third and last deal that San Antonio will offer is to Ingram on a two-way basis. He will move to Austin to join fellow Spurs David Duke Jr. (Providence) and Jamaree Bouyea (San Francisco University). As was already mentioned, Victor Wembanyama is the team’s main focus, and San Antonio is firmly in rebuilding mode. Harrison Ingram might rush in and seize a roster spot should the Spurs decide to cut senior contracts if they don’t exhibit any signs of being a postseason contender. This season on Tubi, he will be one to watch.
