Latest News: Just In Howie Roseman Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Experienced LB Today

**Eagles Sign Veteran LB **

The Philadelphia Eagles are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for a successful season next year. Despite already boasting one of the strongest rosters in the league, the team is focused on enhancing their depth, particularly on defense.

To that end, the Eagles have signed veteran linebacker Shaquille Quarterman, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Quarterman has joined the Eagles on a one-year contract. The team has yet to announce a corresponding move to accommodate the new addition.

Quarterman, a former fourth-round pick, spent his first four seasons with the Jaguars, primarily contributing on special teams. He made 63 appearances without any starts and has accumulated 54 tackles over his career.

The Miami product has consistently played over 200 special teams snaps each season.

Quarterman had previously participated in the Eagles’ rookie camp on a tryout basis, and now he becomes the second player from those tryouts to secure a contract, following WR John Ross.

Whether Quarterman will secure a spot on the 53-man roster remains uncertain due to the Eagles’ deep talent pool at all positions. However, his experience and versatility on special teams could give him an edge in making the final cut.
