**Class of 2025 Linebacker Joins LSU After Flipping from South Carolina**
Class of 2025 linebacker Jaiden Braker has announced his commitment to LSU, switching from his previous commitment to South Carolina. The decision follows a recent visit and offer from LSU, which apparently had a significant impact on Braker’s choice.
Previously committed to South Carolina since July 6, Braker has opted to join LSU’s football program. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound linebacker from Snellville, GA, has been recognized for his impressive speed and ability to cover various areas on the field. Although he is rated as a three-star recruit and is currently ranked No. 684 nationally by On3, Braker has garnered interest from numerous top college programs and holds over 20 offers.
Braker’s agility and defensive skills make him a versatile player who can impact all levels of defense. However, his physicality has been noted as a potential area for improvement. With further college-level conditioning and development, he has the potential to make a substantial contribution to LSU in the future.
With Braker’s commitment, LSU’s 2025 recruiting class has risen to No. 3 nationally and No. 2 within the SEC, bringing the total number of commitments to 19. The class includes nine defensive pledges, highlighting a growing strength in LSU’s defense that should excite fans about the program’s prospects.
