Done Deal: Mike McDaniel Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Talented Player

To create space on the roster, the Miami Dolphins dismissed offensive lineman Chasen Hines on Wednesday morning and signed wide receiver Mike Harley Jr.

Harley, 26, attended Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School before becoming a great player for the Miami Hurricanes. Reggie Wayne’s record of 182 career collegiate receptions was surpassed by him at the university.

He spent his debut season on the Cleveland Browns practice squad after going undrafted in 2022, but he was unable to make the roster in 2023. Earlier this year, he spent a brief time as a member of the United Football League’s D.C. Defenders.
With multiple receivers out of the lineup right now, the Dolphins needed another receiver in camp. While Erik Ezukanma, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios are all on the team’s temporary injury list, veteran addition Odell Beckham Jr. remains on the PUP list.

Although the extent of Waddle, Berrios, and Ezukanma’s ailments is unknown, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel has downplayed worries that any of them are significant.

Hines, 24, was cut by the New England Patriots at the conclusion of training camp, and he spent the 2023 season on the Dolphins practice squad.
