**Heat Sign to Exhibit 10 Contract**
Zyon Pullin has become the first player from the 2024 NBA Draft class to secure a second contract, signing a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal with the Miami Heat. The team announced the signing on Monday, with Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald noting that the agreement is an Exhibit 10 contract.
A 6’4″ guard who played college basketball at UC Riverside from 2019 to 2023 before transferring to Florida for his final year, Pullin was named an All-SEC player for the 2023/24 season. He averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game across 33 games (27 starts), shooting .444 from the field, .449 from three-point range, and .847 from the free-throw line.
After going undrafted in June, Pullin quickly signed a two-way contract with the Heat on July 1, the first day of the new league year. Despite this, he saw limited action during the Summer League and was waived on July 25 to create space for Josh Christopher, a standout from the Summer League, to sign a two-way contract.
Pullin’s new Exhibit 10 deal suggests that the Heat are still interested in developing him. He could be converted back to a two-way contract before the regular season starts if he performs well in training camp. Otherwise, he may be waived and join the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami’s G League affiliate. Players on Exhibit 10 contracts can earn up to $77.5K if waived by their NBA team and spend at least 60 days with their G League affiliate.
