Guard Josh Christopher was signed by Your Miami Heat to a two-way contract, and guard Zyon Pullin was waived. The terms of the contract were kept confidential per club policy.
After participating in all six games (four starts), averaging 19.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.00 steals, 1.8 assists, and 25.9 minutes while shooting 54.1 percent from the field, 52.5 percent from three-point range, and a flawless 15-of-15 from the foul line, Christopher was named the 2024 Summer League Championship Game MVP. He recorded four 20-point games, including a 20-point fourth quarter on July 15 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and scored in double figures five times. With a +68 plus/minus, he concluded the NBA2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas.
Christopher, who the Houston Rockets selected with the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft, split his G League season between the Salt Lake City Stars and the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the HEAT’s affiliate. In 18 regular season games (seven starts) with the
Skyforce, he shot 43.9 percent from the field and a team-high 90.5 percent from the foul line. His averages were 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.39 steals, and 27.4 minutes. He scored in double figures in 12 games, including a season-high 40 points and 10 rebounds in a double-double against the Memphis Hustle on March 19. He also earned five multi-steal games. He also played in one postseason game for the Skyforce, finishing on April 5 against the OKC Blue with a line of 16 points, six rebounds, three steals, and an assist.
Pullin, who was first signed by the HEAT on July 1 to a Two-Way Contract, played in all six Miami games in Las Vegas (with one start) and averaged 5.3 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.0 rebounds in 11.9 minutes.
