The Toronto Raptors have signed reserve guard Jared Rhoden, who spent last season with the Detroit Pistons. The details of the contract were not disclosed, in line with team policy.
Rhoden, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 210 pounds, played 17 games for the Pistons last season, averaging 4.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 14.4 minutes per game. He shot 50% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range. Rhoden also achieved double figures in scoring twice, including a career-high 16 points on April 14 against San Antonio.
Over his career with the Pistons, Rhoden averaged 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 14.3 minutes across 31 games after signing a two-way contract in December 2022. Additionally, he played in 53 NBA G League games with Motor City, where he averaged 19.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 35.8 minutes per game.
Before entering the NBA, Rhoden had a successful four-year collegiate career at Seton Hall. He averaged 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 122 games. As a senior, he posted averages of 15.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 31 games, earning a spot on the All-Big East First Team.
