Breaking: Seattle Seahawks Officailly Cut Another Top Experienced Star Player After Turning Down New Contract Offer

Facing multiple injuries at the tight end position, the Seattle Seahawks have added two new players, signing Devon Garrison from Pittsburgh State and Michael Ezeike from UCLA, as reported by Aaron Wilson last night.

To make room for these new additions on their 90-man offseason roster, the Seahawks waived two defensive rookies: linebacker Devin Richardson from Washington State and cornerback Willie Roberts from Louisiana Tech.

Richardson saw limited action, participating in just two special teams snaps in Saturday’s preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. The previous week, he played six defensive snaps against the Los Angeles Chargers, earning a solid grade of 74.3.

Roberts played nine snaps on defense against the Titans but was likely edged out by the emergence of rookie Dee Williams from Tennessee, who impressed with 68 kick return yards on two attempts and the highest coverage grade on the team this week.

Additionally, the Seahawks reportedly worked out former Chargers quarterback Casey Bauman on Sunday, though there is no indication yet that he will be signed.
