Breaking: Indiana Fever Confirm Another Major Setback As Top Talented Star Face Season Ending Injury

Fans of Caitlin Clark experienced a mass panic attack Friday night when the Indiana Fever player suffered a terrible ankle injury.

Thankfully, CC says she’s all right!

When the No. 1 draft pick rolled her left ankle while playing defense in the first quarter of Monday’s Fever-Dream game at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, it was a terrifying moment.

The 6-foot rookie guard gave way instantly, visibly in excruciating pain and clutching her ankle.

Even while it didn’t look good, Clark managed to return to the court in the second quarter with her ankle wrapped, much to the relief of Fever supporters around the nation.

Clark scored 19 points and led the team to an 84-79 victory despite missing time in the first half.

Regarding the injury, Clark stated, “I saw the replay, and I look really soft,” during the news conference after the game.

“The turn wasn’t too bad, but it still stung. Thus, sometimes all you need to do is allow yourself a moment. I was fine because, as anyone who has ever injured their ankle knows, it only hurts for a short while.

Clark said, “You’re not a real basketball player if you haven’t sprained your ankles a bunch.”

By the way, the 22-year-old created history once more Friday night. With four made threes, she tied Rhyn Howard for the record for the most threes made by a rookie in the WNBA (85).
