Breaking: Just In Top Experienced NFL Four-time Pro Bowl Officially Signed With Dallas Cowboys For Record Fee Worth…

The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Dalvin Cook, a four-time Pro Bowl player, according to multiple reports on Wednesday. ESPN noted that Cook will initially join the team’s practice squad after working out with the Cowboys on Tuesday. His addition comes as part of a revamped backfield that includes Ezekiel Elliott, although the contract details were not disclosed.

Cook, 29, has accumulated 6,207 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns in 88 NFL games (73 starts) over seven seasons, having been drafted in the second round by the Minnesota Vikings in 2017. He also has 236 catches for 1,872 yards and five touchdowns. Cook had four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons for the Vikings from 2019 to 2022, before a shoulder surgery affected his performance. His best season was in 2020, when he ran for a career-high 1,557 yards and 16 touchdowns in 14 games, all as a starter.

The Vikings released Cook in June 2023, and he had a brief stint with the New York Jets, where he struggled, gaining just 214 rushing yards over 15 games before being released in January. He was later picked up by the Baltimore Ravens, where he rushed for 23 yards on eight carries during a playoff win against the Houston Texans. Cook did not play in the subsequent AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tony Pollard, who led the Cowboys with 1,005 rushing yards last season, signed a three-year, $21.75 million contract with the Tennessee Titans in the offseason. The Cowboys will begin their season on September 8 with a road game against the Cleveland Browns.
