Breaking: New York Rangers Hits With Another Major Setbacks As Another Top Experienced Star Suffer Career Ending Injury

After neck surgery, the former Rangers forward is out for the season.
Following neck surgery on August 6, Jesper Fast, a former forward for the New York Rangers, will not be able to play in 2024–2025. The Carolina Hurricanes will probably place the 32-year-old on long-term injured reserve prior to the start of the season.

Fast was cross-checked from behind during Carolina’s final regular-season game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on April 16, resulting in a neck injury. Fast was unable to participate in the Stanley Cup Playoffs as a result, missing the Rangers’ six-game victory over the Hurricanes in the second round.

“The worst situation. At the split day in May, Fast said, “Just when the fun is about to start, you’re sitting on the sidelines.” Of course, it’s quite difficult to sit on the sidelines; all you want is to support and be a part of your team. Undoubtedly, it was one of the hardest times of my professional life.

Even though Fast was optimistic about his future at the moment, he wore a neck brace when he spoke with reporters on breakup day.

It is evident that you have a neck injury. We’re still investigating at the moment to see how lengthy it is. We’ll find out more later because we have some fresh examinations coming up,” he stated. “At this point, we’re optimistic, but we need a few more results.”
