Sad News: Zach LaVine’s injury history: Every illness that has kept LaVine out of action over his playing career.

The Chicago Bulls’ attempt to move Zach LaVine is the NBA’s worst-kept secret. As of this now, there is no market for a two-time All-Star who is still under 30 years old.

This isn’t because LaVine isn’t a talented player; when healthy, his numbers place him among the NBA’s top scorers. In the past six seasons, LaVine has ranked 19th overall in points scored and 14th overall in scoring average (24.7 points per game). LaVine has always struggled with the “when healthy” aspect because of his numerous injuries, which have cost him anywhere from a few games to full seasons.

Following his participation in 77 and 82 games during his inaugural two seasons, LaVine sustained the first of several ailments.

Knee issues limited him to just 47 games in the 2016-17 season and 24 games in 2017-18, his first with the Bulls.

Ankle and knee injuries held LaVine to just 63 games in the 2018-19 season and from there it was a slew of minor injuries that always kept LaVine from having a full season.
Zach LaVine played in just 60 games in 2019 due to a long list of minor injuries that were listed on his injury report. How many there were in a one year is astounding.
