Good News: Just In Atlanta Braves Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Superstar In Free Agent

**Urshela Returns to Lineup, Batting Ninth and Playing Third Base Against the Phillies**

After missing two consecutive games due to minor groin soreness, Gio Urshela is back in the starting lineup for the Atlanta Braves on Friday, batting ninth and playing third base against the Philadelphia Phillies. Urshela was sidelined due to the injury but has now been cleared to play. Since joining Atlanta on August 20 to fill in for Austin Riley (hand), Urshela has gone 9-for-31 (.290) with two RBIs and a run scored in eight games.

Urshela was not in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Phillies as he continued to recover from the groin soreness he sustained after hitting an infield single on Tuesday, according to Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. While the injury isn’t considered serious, it was enough to keep him out for one game. Luke Williams started at third base on Thursday, batting ninth in the lineup. Urshela has posted a .290/.313/.355 slash line with two RBIs since joining the Braves.
