Breaking: Just In ESPN Predicts Shake-Up For Eagles Receiving Leaderboard.

One of the best receiving tandems in the NFL right now is on the Philadelphia Eagles. Over the past two seasons, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have both excelled in their own right and even broke the franchise record for the most yards received by two wide receivers in a single season.

The Eagles had never had two receivers with 1,000 yards until Brown arrived. In consecutive seasons, the two have now scored over 1,000 combined. In spite of Brown’s greater popularity and dominance, the Eagles renewed the contracts of both wide receivers this offseason. However, ESPN’s Dan Graziano said he wouldn’t be shocked if Smith was given a chance to start at the top receiving guard position in 2024. “Smith has elevated something about his game each season in the eyes of the Eagles, who draughted him 10th overall in 2021, and he could be poised for a massive breakout — possibly even surpassing Brown as the team’s No. 1 wideout,” Graziano stated.

Smith’s skill set is seen to be a lock to be employed with players like CeeDee Lamb and Keenan Allen over the years, even with Kellen Moore ready to take over as the offensive play-caller for the upcoming season.
