Breaking: Just In Milwaukee Bucks Officially Waived Another Top NBA All-Star Veteran

**Jaylin Galloway Rejoins Sydney Kings After Stint with Milwaukee Bucks**

After being waived by the Milwaukee Bucks three weeks ago, Jaylin Galloway, a former two-way player for the Bucks, is set to return to the Sydney Kings, his former team in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL), according to a report by Olgun Uluc of ESPN.

Galloway had initially signed a three-year contract with the Sydney Kings before leaving the NBL to join the Milwaukee Bucks on a two-way deal in March. As per the terms of his original agreement, the Kings retained the right of first refusal, meaning they could claim him back if he decided to return to the league. Uluc reports that Galloway and the Sydney Kings have since renegotiated his prior contract and agreed on a new three-year deal, allowing him to rejoin his former team.

The 6’6″ swingman did not play in any NBA games during the 2023/24 season with the Bucks. Instead, he spent his time in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s affiliate team. In seven games with the Herd, Galloway averaged 4.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 blocks over 20.4 minutes per game. Prior to his move to the NBA, the 21-year-old Australian was performing well for the Sydney Kings, averaging 10.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game earlier in the 2023/24 NBL season.

Galloway returns to a Sydney Kings roster that includes several players with NBA experience, such as guard Jaylen Adams and forwards Xavier Cooks and Cameron Oliver. Olgun Uluc has shared a projection of the Kings’ full depth chart on Twitter, indicating a strong and competitive lineup for the upcoming season.

The Bucks decided to waive Galloway to create roster space for Anzejs Pasecniks. Milwaukee has now filled all three of its two-way contract slots, with Pasecniks joining Ryan Rollins and Stanley Umude.

By returning to the Sydney Kings, Galloway looks to build on his previous success and continue developing his game. His return strengthens the Kings’ roster and adds depth to a team that is poised to be competitive in the NBL. Galloway’s experience in the G League and his previous performance in Australia suggest he could play a key role for Sydney as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
