Breaking: Just In Chicago Sky Officially Waived Another Top Experienced Fans Favorite Superstar

Kysre Gondrezick, a former guard for West Virginia University and a top-five pick in the WNBA Draft, has been waived by the Chicago Sky, according to an announcement made by the team on Friday.

Gondrezick played in five games for the Sky this season, marking her return to the WNBA after last playing in 2021. During her limited minutes on the court, she averaged 1.0 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.8 steals per game, playing just over three minutes per game on average.

Originally selected as the No. 4 overall pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2021 draft, Gondrezick appeared in 19 games for Indiana that year. She later signed a training camp contract with the Chicago Sky in February.

During her senior year at West Virginia, Gondrezick averaged 19.5 points per game and remains the highest-drafted player in the history of the program.
