ESPN REPORT: Boston Bruins Reportedly Welcome Another Top Talented Highly Rated Star In Training Camp

**Bruins Sign Veteran Tyler Johnson to Professional Tryout Agreement**

The Boston Bruins have signed veteran forward Tyler Johnson to a professional tryout agreement (PTO), giving him a chance to earn a spot on the roster. This move, made on Saturday, is a low-risk strategy by the Bruins to potentially strengthen their depth.

Johnson, 34, brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played 738 games over his 12-season NHL career. He has accumulated 193 goals and 238 assists and has won two Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 and 2021.

Standing at 5-foot-8 and weighing 185 pounds, Johnson most recently played for the Chicago Blackhawks, appearing in 67 games last season. As he approaches the latter stages of his career, Johnson is eager to demonstrate that he still has the skill and drive to compete at a high level.

The Bruins will evaluate Johnson during their training camp to determine if he is a good fit for their roster and whether he has earned a place on the team.
