Breaking: Cincinnati Bengals Officially Cut Another Top Experienced Superstar After Requesting Max Contract Extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Devin Harper to their practice squad, filling 15 of the 16 available spots. Harper, who was a sixth-round pick from Oklahoma State in the 2020 NFL Draft, spent three seasons with the Cowboys, recording just five tackles. In 2023, after being released by the Cowboys, Harper briefly joined the Cincinnati Bengals, playing in six games and staying on the active roster for 14 games before being cut at the end of the preseason.

The Steelers quickly picked Harper up to add depth to their linebacker unit, particularly for special teams, in case of injuries. The Steelers have struggled with linebacker injuries in 2023, forcing them to bring in several players to strengthen the position. Harper, known for his speed with a 4.50 40-yard dash, becomes the only inside linebacker on Pittsburgh’s practice squad and could be a valuable addition if needed.
