Breaking: Minnesota Vikings Confirm The Departure Of Another Top Experienced Superstar After Turning Down New Contarct Offer

Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall has been signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad as of Monday. Hall, a 2023 fifth-round draft pick, was waived by the Vikings last week when they opted to add veteran Brett Rypien to their practice squad instead.

The 26-year-old performed well in the preseason for Minnesota, completing 21 of 30 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns in the final two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. He also led the Vikings to a game-winning drive in their first preseason matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders

Hall briefly stepped in for the Vikings during the 2023 season after starting quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending injury. He started against the Atlanta Falcons on November 5 but had to leave the game early due to a concussion after completing 5 of 6 passes for 78 yards and rushing twice for 11 yards. In Week 17, Hall got another chance against the Green Bay Packers, but it was a tough outing, as he completed just 5 of 10 passes for 67 yards, threw an interception, and fumbled in a blowout loss.

With the Seahawks, Hall will serve as a backup to Geno Smith, with Sam Howell as the team’s secondary quarterback. As for the Vikings, they will move forward with Sam Darnold and Nick Mullens as their backup options.
