“I Want Join The Raiders” Top Experienced NFL Star Officially Announced He Wants To Join Raiders After Declining Contract Extension At Current Team

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed cornerback Darnay Holmes, as announced by the team on Wednesday. Holmes, a free agent, brings valuable NFL experience to the Raiders’ defense after spending the past four seasons with the New York Giants.

Holmes entered the league in 2020 as a fourth-round pick (110th overall) for the Giants. Over his four-year career, he has appeared in 54 games and started 11 of them. During this time, Holmes has recorded impressive stats, including 107 total tackles, with 81 of those being solo efforts. He has also made four interceptions, defended 18 passes, and contributed three tackles for loss. Additionally, Holmes forced two fumbles and recovered one.

Originally from Pasadena, California, Holmes had a successful college career at UCLA, where he played for three seasons. At UCLA, he was a consistent starter, playing in 35 games with 33 starts. During his time with the Bruins, Holmes made 121 tackles, including 89 solo tackles, and demonstrated his defensive prowess with eight interceptions and 28 passes defensed. His college performance earned him All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors in 2019, further highlighting his talent on the field.

Holmes’ signing adds depth to the Raiders’ secondary, providing them with a versatile and experienced cornerback who has proven his ability to defend against both the pass and the run. His history of forcing turnovers and making key plays on defense makes him a valuable addition to the team. As the Raiders prepare for the upcoming season, Holmes’ experience in the NFL and his strong college background at UCLA are expected to bolster their defense.

Holmes now has the opportunity to continue his career in Las Vegas, where he will look to make an impact with the Raiders’ defensive unit. With his combination of experience, skill, and playmaking ability, Holmes could become a key contributor to the team’s success this season. The Raiders will undoubtedly benefit from his presence as they aim to strengthen their defense and compete in the AFC West.
