Sad News: Tears All over As Fans Favorite Undergoes Career Ending Injury Which Made Brian Kelly Weap.

John Emery Jr. was LSU’s finest running back this past weekend, amassing 61 yards on ten runs in addition to an additional ten yards on a reception. Emery may have looked his best when wearing a Tigers uniform, showcasing a unique combination of strength and speed. Sadly, John Emery Jr. suffered an ACL tear during practice this week, meaning he will miss the remainder of the Tigers season.

After John Emery Jr. used the transfer portal, the LSU football club was able to get him back. This was significant since it provided LSU a fourth scholarship running back. With Trey Holly still awaiting resolution of his legal issues, the LSU football team was left with just three running backs: Josh Williams, Caden Durham, and Kaleb Jackson.

It appeared like LSU would need to switch someone to running back because they only had one true freshman in Durham and one very seasoned back in Williams. They also felt confident in Kaleb Jackson. Cornerback Ju’Juan Johnson, who joined with LSU in December, is the newest running back on the football team. Johnson was a standout athlete at Lafayette Christian Academy, so he’s not just an athletic player making the move. As a dual threat quarterback, Johnson set state records with 14,451 yards and 171 touchdowns.

Brian Kelly raved about Johnson on signing day for his ability to play anywhere.
