Breaking: Alabama Confirm Two Injury Blow With Two Top Talented Fans Favorite Stars Ruled Out For The Season

Following Alabama’s 42-10 victory over Wisconsin, head coach Kalen DeBoer of Alabama Football gave updates on the injuries to redshirt freshman LB Qua Russaw and senior safety Malachi Moore.

In the third quarter, was tackled by teammate DeVonta Smith and carried off the field such that he could not put any weight on his wounded leg. According to DeBoer, the injury is a lower leg problem, and they will keep an eye on it.

Moore’s report was far more encouraging, but you never know how someone may react after a brain injury.

Malachi “got hit in the head,” according to DeBoer. We’ll walk him through the procedure, but I believe he will be fine.”

Moore made a stop in the redzone while playing his finest game of the year, but he collided hard with the Wisconsin running back. After forcing a crucial fumble in the second quarter, Moore finished with seven tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and the ability to strip Badgers running back Chez Mellusi after a 21-yard gain. After that play, Alabama was only ahead 7-3. Seven plays later, Jalen Milroe scored a touchdown to give the Crimson Tide a two-possession lead that they would never give up.
Richard Young, the third-string running back, also sustained an injury in the second half and will be assessed further.

The Crimson Tide won quite easily, but the victory was somewhat tempered by the injuries to Young and two important defenders. The next week’s bye week is ideal, and maybe Alabama can take care of these guys and prepare them for Georgia.
