Following the win, ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez reported that Crosby was seen limping noticeably. When asked about his knee, Crosby simply replied, “It’s fine,” downplaying any concerns. His leadership and energy were on full display during the game, particularly when he reacted with intensity after Ravens quarterback Gardner Minshew threw an interception.
Crosby has been a durable and consistent player throughout his six-year career, never missing a game. In both the 2022 and 2023 seasons, he played over 80% of the team’s defensive snaps in nearly every game, a trend that continues in 2024.
After the game, Crosby expressed his satisfaction with the win and his team’s resilience. He shared a passionate message with Raiders owner Mark Davis, declaring, “Let them talk that s***. We’re gonna back it up. Let’s f***ing go!” His emotions carried over into the post-game press conference, where he spoke about the team’s determination to prove doubters wrong. Crosby mentioned that he took the criticism personally and felt the entire team had been disrespected. He emphasized that the victory was a direct response to that.
Wide receiver Davante Adams also contributed to the team’s motivational efforts. Adams spoke to his teammates during the game, urging them to find a higher level of focus and energy. His words appeared to spark a transformation in the team, as the Raiders came together to secure the win.
With the victory, the Raiders evened their record to 1-1 and now prepare to face the struggling Carolina Panthers in Week 3, hoping to build momentum from their recent success.
