Sad News: Just In Florida State Cut With Another Major Setback As Top Talented And Well Experienced Player Suffers Career Ending Injury..

The FSU 2025 class member with the longest tenure will miss an unspecified period of time due to an injury.
Over the past two weeks, Florida State’s on-field difficulties have been amplified as a nationwide viewership has watched the team lose badly to Boston College and Georgia Tech. It’s critical that the Seminoles retain the core of their #Tribe25 class as the losses start to mount. With 13 promises, the haul presently stands at No. 18 in the nation.

Four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. is the player in FSU’s class with the longest commitment ever. He’s been trying to do his part to try to aid the program in continuing to attract talent ever since he locked down his recruitment with the Seminoles throughout the summer. Jones Jr., who is in his final year, wanted to lead Mandarin High School to a state victory after they lost in the championship game the previous year.

Rather, the blue-chip quarterback is battling an injury that has occurred early in his senior season in high school. In the first quarter of Mandarin’s 47-0 victory over Creekside on Friday night, Jones Jr. was taken off the field due to what seemed to be a left ankle injury. It’s evident that he’s going to lose some time but Jones Jr. didn’t provide much clarity on how long he’ll be sidelined in an update he posted to social media on Tuesday.
The fact that Jones Jr. mentioned his dedication to Florida State and his intentions to keep recruiting for the team in spite of a difficult start is encouraging.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contacted me, said a prayer for me, and expressed concern for my welfare. This is just a small setback, and I’ll be right back. I have no doubt that my Mandarin Mustang family has what it takes to win another state championship, so I will keep being involved and cheering them on. In addition, I will continue to actively recruit students for Florida State University. I’m dedicated to achieving the objectives I’ve set over the previous few years. When your goal is excellence, failure is not an option. +2 #GoNoles.
Jones Jr. is having a difficult break since he was showing indications that this would be his greatest year to date as a signal-caller. Before the injury, he completed 19 of 21 throws (90.5%) for 439 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Jones Jr. participated in the June Elite 11 Finals after putting up a strong performance on the 7-on-7 circuit this summer. He finished his junior year with a completion percentage of 183/302 (60.6%) for 3,195 yards, 33 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. On the ground, Jones Jr. also added a point.

Since April 1, 2023, the native of Florida has committed to Florida State. In December, he is expected to report to the quarterback room, which already features true freshman Luke Kromenhoek and redshirt freshman Brock Glenn.
