Done Deal: Just In J. B. Bickerstaff Officially Announced The Signing Of Another Top Talented Star

Malik Beasley, a veteran free agent, is allegedly signed by the Detroit Pistons to a one-year, $6 million contract.
The eight-year veteran played in 79 games with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, starting 77 of them. The former Florida State player shot 44.3 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from three, and 71.4 percent from the free throw line last season, averaging 11.3 points and 3.7 rebounds.

After being selected in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets, Beasley played some of his first four seasons in the Mile High City. In addition, he has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Beasley joins forward Tobias Harris, who signed earlier this week, as the second free agent to sign with the Pistons this off-season. The Pistons are reportedly going to extend a five-year rookie contract worth a maximum of $226 million to Cade Cunningham, a rising star point guard and former first overall choice.
The Detroit Pistons have had a busy summer under new front-office boss President of Basketball Operations Trajan Langdon, who joined the team after serving as general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans for three seasons.

Additionally, the Pistons fired head coach Monty Williams after just one season and general manager Troy Weaver after four. The Pistons recently selected forwards Ron Holland and Bobi Klintman in the NBA Draft, acquired forward Wendell Moore and University of Michigan graduate Tim Hardaway Jr. through trade, and announced the appointment of J.B. Bickerstaff to replace Williams.
