Good News: Just In Cincinnati Bengals Officially Sign Another Top Experienced NFL Superstar To 53-man roster

The Cincinnati Bengals have strengthened their 53-man roster by signing veteran defensive tackle Lawrence Guy. A 14-year NFL veteran, Guy was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round in 2011. Throughout his career, he has played for the Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, and most recently, the New England Patriots, who released him in February after seven seasons with the team.

At 34 years old, Guy has accumulated 507 tackles, 39 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, and two forced fumbles across 177 regular-season games. He has also played in 13 postseason games, including three during the Patriots’ Super Bowl-winning season in 2019.

The Bengals are dealing with injuries on defense, with B.J. Hill and Sheldon Rankins both suffering hamstring injuries in their Week 2 loss, and their availability for the next game is uncertain.

In addition to signing Guy, the Bengals waived defensive end KJ Henry, who joined the team in late August and appeared in the first two games of the season. They also released wide receiver Shedrick Jackson from the practice squad.
