Breaking: Packers Confirm Another Huge Blow As Top Talented Player Suffers Season Ending Injury.

When the Green Bay Packers play the Tennessee Titans in Week Three of the NFL regular season in 2024, they know who will start at quarterback. They simply haven’t revealed the identity to anyone yet. Jordan Love’s damaged MCL prevented him from playing in Green Bay’s Week Two victory over the Indianapolis Colts. In the closing seconds of the Packers’ defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paolo, Brazil, he was hurt.

The previous quarterback for the Titans, Malik Willis, assisted in leading the Packers to win in Week Two and might return to the field if necessary upon his return to Tennessee. Despite practicing all week, Love’s status remains uncertain. Sean Clifford, the quarterback for Green Bay, was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday afternoon; however, Love’s status as a player is still unknown.

Everyone knows that Brayden Narveson will be the kicker for the Packers on Sunday, even though they haven’t revealed who will start as quarterback. But according to the team’s website, he has also been put to the injury list with a right-foot ailment.

The good news is that he does not have a game designation listed (questionable, doubtful, etc.), so he is definitely going to play against the Titans. One has to wonder, though, how a right foot injury might affect the right-footed kicker, who has already missed two field goals this year.

Narveson, of course, was named Green Bay’s starting kicker when the team claimed him off of waivers from the Titans. Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph had competed for the role in training camp, but Carlson was cut when the roster was trimmed to 53 players. Joseph was released when Green Bay signed Narveson.

Joseph was recently signed by the New York Giants after spending a week on the Detroit Lions’ practice squad.
