Kirby Dach, who had his season cut short by a knee injury, thinks he’s more prepared than ever to return for the 2024–25 campaign. It will be only a few weeks till the start of the new regular season. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old forward verified a rumour that had been going about at the end of the previous season regarding a potential comeback to the game during the news conference he hosted earlier this week.
Acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2022 draft, Kirby Dach had a very good first season in Montreal with 38 points in 58 games, but he was limited to just two games in 2023-24.
Most experts expect him to play on the Canadiens’ second line, and if he’s paired with Patrik Laine and Alex Newhook, he could potentially have the best season of his young career.
