Jaboree Antoine has committed to the Miami Hurricanes football team, giving coach Mario Cristobal his second-highest rated recruit in the 2025 class. Antoine, a four-star cornerback from New Iberia, Louisiana, ranked No. 54 in the ESPN 300, had previously committed to LSU in January before reopening his recruitment in June after visits to Miami and Florida State.
Just weeks later, Antoine chose Miami, becoming the top defensive recruit and second-ranked overall prospect in the Hurricanes’ 2025 class. He follows five-star offensive guard S.J. Alofaituli, who committed earlier in the month. Antoine is Cristobal’s 15th addition since June 1, with six of those being ESPN 300 recruits. Miami’s 2025 class is currently ranked 10th in ESPN’s team rankings.
Despite a collarbone injury that limited Antoine to only five games during his junior season at Westgate High School, he had been a key recruit for LSU before decommitting. Miami, LSU, and Florida State remained in contention for his commitment before he chose between the Tigers and Hurricanes this week.
Antoine now joins a defensive group that includes four-star safety Hylton Stubbs, linebackers Elijah Melendez and Gavin Nix, and cornerback Chris Ewald, all adding to Miami’s fast-rising 2025 class. The Hurricanes now have 10 ESPN 300 recruits and are aiming for a third consecutive top-10 class.
