Breaking: Tennessee Titans Fans Favorite Superstar Officially Cut Today Due To Injury

Linebacker JoJo Domann has been waived off the Tennessee Titans’ injured reserve list following an injury settlement, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. Domann, who was dealing with an undisclosed injury, had been placed on injured reserve after being waived with an injury designation on August 28. He went unclaimed off waivers, which led to his placement on IR.

Initially, Domann was set to miss the entire 2024 season due to the injury. However, with the injury settlement, he now has the opportunity to recover and sign with another team once he’s back to full health. The settlement allows Domann to return to the field sooner than expected, rather than being sidelined for the entire year.

Domann appeared in five games for the Titans during the 2023 season. He primarily contributed on special teams, playing 76 snaps in that role and recording three tackles, including one solo tackle. While his role was limited, Domann’s presence on special teams was valuable to Tennessee. Now that he has reached this settlement, Domann will have the chance to continue his NFL career once he’s medically cleared.

This injury settlement opens the door for Domann to explore new opportunities in the league. It remains to be seen which team might take a chance on the young linebacker, but his ability to contribute on special teams could make him an attractive option for teams looking to bolster that unit. Teams often value players who can make an impact in multiple phases of the game, and Domann’s experience on special teams could help him land a spot on another roster once he fully recovers.

For now, Domann will focus on his recovery and await an opportunity to sign with a new team. The injury settlement provides him the flexibility to get back on the field sooner, and it will be interesting to see if any teams take interest in him as the 2024 season progresses.
