The Buffalo Bills have added wide receiver Ahmarean Brown to their practice squad and offensive tackle Will Clapp to their active roster.
In a rush of roster movements on Thursday, the Buffalo Bills added one player to their active roster and another to their practice squad. Will Clapp, an offensive lineman on the practice squad, took Tylan Grable’s position on the 53-man roster after the rookie offensive tackle was placed on injured reserve. Grable suffered a groin injury during Buffalo’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. Wide receiver Ahmarean Brown, who was not taken in the 2024 NFL Draft, spent the offseason with the Cleveland Browns before joining the Bills as a reserve unit member.
After spending two years with the Los Angeles Chargers, 28-year-old Clapp signed a one-year contract with the Bills during the summer. During his six prior professional seasons, he made 65 appearances, starting 21 of them. Although the veteran can play many positions, he has spent the most of his regular season snaps at center in previous years. According to PFF, he took 39 offensive snaps for Buffalo in the 2024 preseason, all of which were at right guard.
