Breaking: Howie Roseman Officially Announce Signing Of Another Top Talented LB Star After Signing A 1-year contract Deal.

After signing him to a one-year contract in the offseason, former Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday.

White, 26, wasn’t active for Philadelphia’s first four games of the season and didn’t play a single snap for the Eagles. He agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with $3.5 million guaranteed, according to Spotrac.

White had a poor 2023 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; the Eagles had hoped he would improve in Philadelphia, but the previous first-round choice was unsuccessful. After losing out to Nakobe Dean for the starting MIKE linebacker position during training camp, White suffered an ankle injury that kept him out of the team’s season opener in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers. Following that, White was a healthy scratch for Philadelphia’s next three games prior to the bye week. In the wake of the Eagles’ Week 4 loss to the Buccaneers, 33-16, White sparked some debate on social media.

White forced a turnover against Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts by retweeting a Tweet from Lavonte David, his old teammate in Tampa. X was once Twitter. Later, White stated on X that he didn’t intend to retweet the post, just like it. For personal reasons, White was ruled out of the match against his old squad. The Eagles will play the Cleveland Browns at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday after their bye week.
