The Houston Texans have made a notable addition to their roster by signing tight end Teagan Quitoriano from the Chicago Bears’ practice squad. Teagan Quitoriano was initially drafted by the Texans in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, making this a return to familiar territory for the young player. The Texans valued his combination of size, blocking ability, and potential in the passing game. Standing at 6’6″ and weighing 258 pounds, Quitoriano has the physical tools to be an effective player, particularly in the run game, where his size and blocking prowess can make an impact. Though primarily known for his blocking skills, he has also shown the potential to contribute as a receiver.
During his rookie season with the Texans, Quitoriano played in 9 games, recording seven catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
