The Atlanta Falcons have made a significant move to bolster their offensive line by signing center/guard Matt Hennessy to the active roster. In a corresponding move, the team placed safety Micah Abernathy on injured reserve (IR), dealing a blow to their secondary.
Hennessy’s promotion to the active roster is a notable development for the Falcons. The 26-year-old safety, who signed with the Falcons in 2023, was looking to carve out a more significant role this season.
