It was a strong day for former Huskers on defense in week six of the NFL.

Lavonte David helped lead the way for Tampa Bay in a win over New Orleans and Cam Taylor-Britt enjoyed a strong game in Cincinnati’s win over the Giants.

Check out the performance of former Huskers in the sixth week of the NFL schedule. Lavonte David, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Started the team’s 51-27 victory over New Orleans at linebacker. During 61 defensive snaps in the victory, David recorded nine tackles, one sack, and one quarterback hurry. Maliek Collins, San Francisco 49ers: Had one tackle and a quarterback hurry in the 49ers’ Thursday night victory over Seattle after starting at defensive lineman. In the victory, Collins participated in 59 defensive plays and five special teams plays. Trey Palmer of the Tampa Bay Bucs: was sidelined once more in the Buccaneers’ victory over the New Orleans Saints while recovering from a concussion.

Philadelphia Eagles’ Nick Gates did not play in the team’s victory over Cleveland. Ameer Abdullah of the Las Vegas Raiders: In the Raiders’ defeat to Pittsburgh, Abdullah ran four times for 24 yards and made three catches for 14 yards. In addition to returning three punts and one kickoff in the defeat, Abdullah made one offensive blunder. Abdullah participated in 15 special teams plays and 19 offensive snaps. Khalil Davis of the Houston Texans: In 35 defensive snaps and three special teams plays, Davis had two tackles, two tackles for loss, and one quarterback hurry while serving as a reserve defensive lineman.

Cam Taylor-Britt, Cincinnati Bengals: Made seven tackles and defended two passes in the Bengals’ win over the Giants. Taylor-Britt played 78 defensive snaps in the win.

Luke Gifford, Tennessee Titans: Had one special teams tackle on 22 special teams snaps in Tennessee’s loss to Indianapolis.
Philadelphia Eagles centre Cameron Jurgens started the game and contributed to 62 offensive snaps in addition to one on special teams during the Eagles’ victory over Cleveland. Ben Stille, Arizona Cardinals: Released by Tampa Bay earlier this month, Stille is a member of the Arizona Cardinals practice squad. Los Angeles Chargers’ Brendan Jaimes participated on five special teams snaps during the team’s victory over Denver. Jack Stoll, Philadelphia Eagles: In the team’s victory over Cleveland, Stoll played 39 offensive snaps as a reserve tight end and 13 on special teams.

Travis Vokolek, Arizona Cardinals: Was inactive in Arizona’s loss to Green Bay.

Samori Toure, Chicago Bears: On Chicago’s practice squad.

Ochaun Mathis, New England Patriots: On New England’s practice squad.

Dicaprio Bootle, Los Angeles Chargers: On the Chargers’ practice squad.
