Now, both teams are rumored to be close to finalizing a significant trade before the deadline.

Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports has noted that defensive tackle D.J. Jones from the Broncos may be headed back to San Francisco. Jones, who played for the 49ers from 2017 to 2021 before joining Denver as a free agent, could be a key addition to strengthen San Francisco’s defensive line if the Broncos decide to move him.
