Top Experienced Star was moved back to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad on Monday following Week 6. In the recent victory, Ward was briefly utilized due to the absence of Cordarrelle Patterson, who was sidelined with an ankle injury.
With this opening, Ward played 10 percent of the offensive snaps, while primary running backs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren took on the majority of the workload.
During his limited time on the field, Ward carried the ball three times, gaining a total of 13 yards. In addition to his role on offense, he also contributed on special teams, participating in 11 snaps. Despite these opportunities, his involvement in the game remained limited, leading to his eventual return to the practice squad.
Ward’s movement between the active roster and the practice squad is reflective of his position within the team, where he serves as a depth option.
