The Miami Heat recently made several roster adjustments as they waived forwards Nassir Little and Warren Washington, along with guards Zyon Pullin and Isaiah Stevens. Nassir Little, a forward, was one of the more high-profile players to be waived. Little entered the league with promise after being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. The team also waived two young guards, Zyon Pullin and Isaiah Stevens. Both players were trying to make a name for themselves in a crowded Heat backcourt. Pullin, who went undrafted out of UC Riverside, was noted for his scoring ability and playmaking skills at the collegiate level. Stevens, on the other hand, had a standout college career at Colorado State, where he earned a reputation as a crafty and efficient playmaker. Despite their potential, both Pullin and Stevens faced an uphill battle to earn roster spots on a team that already boasts a deep backcourt.
With these waivers, the Miami Heat continue to fine-tune their roster as they gear up for the regular season.
