Breaking: Just In Brad Treliving Announce The Team Major Setback As To Veteran Player Suffers Career Ending Injury.

After suffering an injury during the team’s defeat to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Maple Leafs veteran Max Pacioretty has been updated by a Maple Leafs reporter. The Maple Leafs looked flat during Tuesday’s 6-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, which was a disheartening blow. Nicholas Robertson’s goal after going six games without a point was a bright spot. A setback, though, came when veteran forward Max Pacioretty departed the game in the second period after suffering a lower-body injury. Fortunately, Pacioretty’s injury doesn’t seem to be as catastrophic as first thought, so Maple Leafs supporters may relax.

With two goals in five games this season, Pacioretty has contributed positively to the Maple Leafs. But in the early going of the season, he has been in and out of the starting lineup. Since he is accustomed to playing on the ice, Pacioretty has stated that it is difficult to be scratched and watch games from the press box. At this point in his career, though, the 35-year-old veteran has begun to accept a more mentoring role and has accepted his diminished function. At a low cap hit, Pacioretty is currently showing himself to be a useful addition for the Maple Leafs. He will probably get a more regular position if he can keep scoring goals as a secondary scoring winger in the lineup in the future, so long as he can stay healthy.
