Latest Injury Report: Green Bay Packers Cut With Another Huge Blow As Fans Favorite Star Suffers Season Ending Injury.

After their bye week, the Green Bay Packers are so healthy that tight end Tucker Kraft received a new jersey. Every one of the 52 players currently on the Packers’ roster, including running back MarShawn Lloyd, who is expected to fill the 53rd place, practiced on Wednesday. The Packers didn’t have many injuries going into their bye, but they did lose their starting defensive backs, safety Evan Williams (hamstring) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), as well as veteran centre Josh Myers (wrist) to the Detroit Lions on November 3. However, as the Packers prepare for their game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, they all worked out on Wednesday.

A few days prior to the Week 9 loss to the Lions, Myers sat at his locker and put on his shoes and socks without the assistance of his injured left hand. On Monday, Myers stated, “Yeah, definitely better.” “I am feeling much better, but I really hope this is a temporary situation.” “Especially at that point, the back and forth of it has been really frustrating,” he continued. However, things are much better now. It does feel better now that the oedema has subsided a little thanks to the rest. Therefore, it will just depend on my ability to throw myself hard and complete all of my tasks. This week, I just need to sort things out.

The presence of Alexander and Williams would be important against the Bears, who have struggled on offense during their three game-losing streak but have a new offensive coordinator and a bunch of weapons in the passing game.

Lloyd’s injury-plagued rookie season has included lengthy stints on the sideline due to hip, hamstring and ankle injuries.

Lloyd injured his hamstring during the preseason opener. In his regular-season debut against the Colts in Week 2, he carried six times for 15 yards and caught one pass for 3 yards before sustaining an ankle injury that sent him to injured reserve.

On Monday, the Packers designated him for return. He might be added to the 53-man roster on Saturday and play against the Bears on Sunday if he has a good practice week. What would he bring to a backfield that is already full? On Monday, running back Josh Jacobs stated, “You can’t teach that speed.” “That speed cannot be taught. His electrifying style and the way he enters and exits his cuts. I can only explain it that way. I can’t wait to watch him perform. He will make an excellent back.

As for Kraft, he had been donning a noncontact red jersey – the jerseys worn by the quarterbacks – since late September due to a shoulder injury. On Wednesday, he was back in the customary white worn by the rest of the offense.

The bye came at a good time for the Packers to get fresh and healthy for what they hope is an extended playoff run.

“I feel really good right now,” receiver Jayden Reed said. “I felt pretty good last game, too, but before that I was pretty beat up. That’s why we had a bye week, and hopefully everybody’s feeling much better so we can go out there and fly around, play the best ball we can play.”
