Parker, 20, was chosen by the Wild in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft and is now playing in his fifth season in the Western Hockey League. He played a key role in Moose Jaw’s run to the Memorial Cup tournament and WHL championship the previous season. Earlier in the 2023–24 season, Parker was acquired by the Warriors from the Victoria Royals. “Kalem brings veteran and championship experience, and he has a two-way game,” Hitmen general manager Garry Davidson said. “He will be an extremely beneficial addition
to the right side of our defence group.”
The product of Clavet, Sask., recorded a career-high 42 points (6g, 36a) in 63 games last season. He has tallied 12 points (3g, 9a) in 19 contests this campaign.
Parker has 239 regular-season WHL games under his belt, as well as 20 playoff contests.
