Breaking: Just In Kansas City Chief Cut With A Huge Blow As Two Top Talented Fans Favorite Superstars Suffers Season Ending Injury.

Ahead of their Week 16 game against the Houston Texans, the Kansas City Chiefs have made their injury report public. Offensive tackle D.J. Humphries has drawn a lot of attention, but quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has been recovering from an ankle injury since Week 15, is the centre of attention. In Week 14, Humphries suffered a hamstring injury during his Chiefs debut against the Los Angeles Chargers. Humphries has been marked as having “did not practise” on the injury report for the past week.

Following three straight days of being listed as “DNP,” the Chiefs announced Humphries will be sidelined for the matchup against the Texans.

Humphries originally signed with the Chiefs in early December, agreeing to a one-year, $5 million deal. The 30-year-old has ample NFL experience, previously playing eight years with the Arizona Cardinals and being named to the Pro Bowl in 2021.

The Chiefs are starting as a 3.5-point favourite against the Texans, according to ESPN BET, while they wait for Humphries to return to his playing form. Kansas City, which is playing the Texans, has a 13-1 record going into the game and a 7-0 home record. The Chiefs are now on a four-game winning streak after defeating the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Carolina Panthers.
