The depth chart for Notre Dame’s game versus Ohio State in the national championship has been made public.
In less than a week, the Fighting Irish and Buckeyes will square off for the 2024 national championship in Atlanta.
Here’s a look at Notre Dame’s updated depth chart for the national championship game:
Most notably, Tosh Baker and Charles Jagusah are listed as co-starters at the left tackle position. That role is a big question mark going into this game as starter Anthonnie Knapp suffered an ankle injury in the semifinal and has already been ruled out for this game against the Buckeyes.
This season, Baker, a backup offensive tackle, saw little action. Prior to suffering a catastrophic injury during fall camp, Jagusah was expected to start as Notre Dame’s left tackle in 2024.
He played some guard late in the 2024 season, including the semifinal matchup with Penn State, but missed the majority of the campaign.
However, Jagusah appears to be a possibility to return to the left tackle position now that Knapp is injured.
The good news for Notre Dame is that Jagusah would be able to go outside since right guard Rocco Spindler appears to be healthy enough to play in the national championship game. Throughout the playoffs, Spindler has struggled with injuries.
