Auburn’s 2024 signing class has received a boost with the official signing of 4-star wide receiver Bryce Cain from Baker High School in Mobile. Committed to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers since June 13, Cain finalized his commitment by signing his national letter of intent during the early signing period.
In his senior season at Baker, Cain showcased his skills by recording impressive statistics, making 43 receptions for 948 yards and 16 touchdowns. His contributions weren’t limited to receiving, as he also added 82 yards on kick returns, accumulating a total of 1,030 all-purpose yards in 2023, averaging more than 93 yards per game.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 170 pounds, Cain is ranked as the 34th-best wide receiver in the 2024 class and is considered the 13th-best recruit out of the state of Alabama, irrespective of position, according to 247Sports.
Cain received offers from several notable programs, including Cincinnati, Liberty, Louisville, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Troy, Tulane, and Wake Forest, among others, before ultimately choosing Auburn.
With Cain’s addition, Auburn’s 2024 wide receiver room is set to feature a talented group of players, including Camden Brown, Caleb Burton III, 5-star Cam Coleman, Jay Fair, Ja’Varrius Johnson, Georgia State transfer Robert Lewis, Koy Moore, 4-star Malcolm Simmons, and 5-star Perry Thompson, providing depth and skill to the team’s receiving corps.
