Good News: Houston Texans confirmed late boost with top super star returned from injury and fit for sunday game

As the 2023 NFL regular season unfolds, expectations for the AFC South division as one of the weakest divisions are proven wrong, with three out of the four teams currently holding 8-6 records heading into Week 16. Surprisingly, the Houston Texans emerge as a standout team in the division, defying initial perceptions.

The Tennessee Titans, however, find themselves at 5-9 and are the sole squad in the division already eliminated from playoff contention. In Week 16, the Texans, amidst their unexpected success, receive positive news as wide receiver Nico Collins announces his readiness for the upcoming matchup against the Cleveland Browns. This update comes via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

Texans' Nico Collins acknowledges challenge of playing 17 games

Collins, having a standout season, has flourished alongside rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, amassing career-high numbers in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. In 12 games, he has recorded 1,004 yards and six touchdowns on 60 receptions.

Collins’ return to the field is a welcomed development for the Texans as they strive to secure a playoff spot in the competitive AFC. However, the situation is not without challenges, as Stroud remains in concussion protocol as of Thursday, casting uncertainty on his availability for Sunday’s game against the Browns, with his status listed as questionable. The Texans will look to navigate this hurdle and capitalize on Collins’ offensive prowess as they continue their playoff push.
