Good News: DeMeco Ryans Confirm Another Addition To Houston Texans Squad Ahead Of Browns Game

Texans bringing key players back from injuries for game vs. Browns

HOUSTON, Tx. (WOIO) – Joe Flacco had sufficient time in the pocket to complete his throws during the Cleveland Browns’ first meeting with the Houston Texans, leading to a career game from Amari Cooper by means of 265 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

It’s the Texans goal to make sure that doesn’t happen again, and now they’ll have aid.

Edge rushers Will Anderson and Jonathan Greenard returned to practice on Thursday.

Will Anderson is another standout rookie on this Houston club.

He and quarterback C.J. Stroud were the Texans’ first-round picks in last year’s draft.

An ankle ailment kept Anderson out against the Browns on Christmas Eve.

Greenard started that game but left with an ankle injury in the first quarter.

Texans LT Laremy Tunsil, DE Will Anderson reportedly expected to play

Both are expected to play Saturday but are categorized as ‘questionable’ on the injury report but doesn’t have any impact on the Browns’ strategy.

“Exactly, it’s like everybody, you want all your players to be healthy at this point in the season,” said Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. “Everybody’s dealing with it in varying degrees. But they are some very, really good edge rushers they have.”

Greenard and Anderson lead the Texans with 12.5 and 7.0 sacks, respectively, so expect Joe Flacco to feel a lot more pressure with these two if they’re cleared for Saturday.
