Good News: Tennessee Titans Confirm The Signing Of Another Experienced NFL Man

Colt Anderson is reportedly leaving the Bengals for the Titans.
Since 2020, the former NFL safety has collaborated with the Bengals’ special teams.

The Tennessee Titans are going to lose another coach to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Colt Anderson, the assistant special teams coach, will now work under Brian Callahan as the Titans’ new coordinator of special teams.

The news was initially announced by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Former Montana safety and undrafted free agent Anderson started his NFL career in 2009 with the Minnesota Vikings. After that, he had a successful eight-year playing career with the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, and Vikings. Over the course of 84 games (seven starts), he made 111 tackles.

Following his playing career, Anderson volunteered as a coach at Butte High School for one season in 2019. Later, in 2020, he would become an assistant special teams coach for the Bengals.

Under special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons, the Bengals’ special teams have continuously been among the best in the NFL, so it’s encouraging to see Simmons’ protégé given the opportunity to lead his own squad in Tennessee.
