Done Deal: Just In Houston Texans Confirm To Agree Deal With Top Star

Report: Khalil Davis and the Texans reach a one-year deal
Veteran defensive tackle Khalil Davis is set to re-sign with the Texans, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC.

Rather than tendering Davis, who was about to become a restricted free agent, the Texans signed him to a one-year contract.

Last season, he participated in 15 games for the Texans, including one start, and finished with a career-high 32 tackles, including two sacks, six tackles for loss, and six quarterback hits.

In 2020, the Buccaneers selected Davis in the sixth round.

He has also played for the Birmingham Stallions, Steelers, Colts, and Rams.

Today, the Texans also signed one-year contracts with nickel corner Desmond King and safety Eric Murray.
